There's the tenderness of a home cooked meal. Complete vulnerability. It's what you offer to those you love, and if they love you enough, they'll just keep asking for more. More and more and more. It's more love, that's what's good for you
Someone smarter than me could explain it better but the Netflix effect™️ of poor lighting, zero focal point and muted color has done so much damage lol
It's practically beating you over the head with how much of a bigot this guy is and the other characters are clearly uncomfortable. If you don't see that then don't watch movies for adults
After you watch Licorice Pizza please have a conversation with your friends about how just showing racism isn’t a critique of racism. It is actually doing racism.
Here are some talking points:
I understand times are hard, but doesn't the President of the

own a suit? I don't have much respect for current members of the U.S. Congress either, but I still wouldn't address them wearing a t-shirt. I wouldn't want to disrespect the institution or the Unites States.
Extremely normal behavior to be tweeting at me, an Asian woman, about how this scene serves no purpose. I have experienced something like this and I appreciate seeing it in movies for people to see this is what happens to people like me and people are just like this too
@1080TJ
It's hilarious he got millions for Mind Hunter and Netflix was like "you're too expensive" and is now trying to do the same things with way more money and failing
My favorite 30 Rock joke is when Jack is watching a black and white doc on a German channel and it's like "industry castrates art. The only honesty is in suicide" and he goes "I can't watch anymore of these German sitcoms"
hey girl how have you been??? omg, married with baby

Zone of Interest is devoid of everything: plot, narration, character development. It's matter of factly addressing the horrors and I think it's one of the best ways to approach the subject in film
I love the white people saying she's being portrayed as "passive" which is deeply offensive in itself ya'll have really gone full circle back to being racist. When I hear something offensive about Asians it can be stunning and I don't know what to say, we're not iron-clad
@tracesauveur
"This scene serves no purpose" it's literally calling out racism, the thing the very people decrying it all want from their media. Good freaking lord
Watching Linklater films is a depressing game of "look at that place it's so cute but too bad it's not there anymore there's a 20 level condo now" and "well we used to have a bunch of weird guys"
Alright alright I’m gonna pile on this scene rules and it really is terrible how a bunch of babies are allergic to personality and that just dictates the box office now
I've gotta hand it to Deadpool vs wolverine for being the most coworker movie ever made. Made specifically for coworkers to ask if you've seen it and you say no in five different interactions. Pack it up y'all
What are y'all talking about this is a good idea to make a cheap food taste better she even said you don't need to just use a bottle of olive oil cause it's expensive you can use vegetable or whatever omg 😭
I don't like gatekeeping but it's kind of depressing that this is what TikTok is doing, just these 5 second exposures to art and move along. Really really does not bode well
I think T***** S**** lacks any kind of introspection in her writing since her whole schtick is just being a big baby about everything, I don't think she measures up to many great songwriters
It's funny when people say Chapo are these edgelords but they are the nicest boys ever and if you listen to their pod for like a second you'll realize how much they care about people. So happy I got to hang with them here in Austin after a show, wishing them all the best
Today, the Supreme Court not only reversed nearly 50 years of precedent, it relegated the most intensely personal decision someone can make to the whims of politicians and ideologues—attacking the essential freedoms of millions of Americans.
Wasn’t going to talk anymore about it but last thing I’ll say about it is it’s super funny people thought that scene is supposed to be funny? I know the movie is a comedy but it’s also a portrayal of Cali in the 70s, a time and place crawling with rich bigots and abusers
NEW: The White House is warning it will have to wind down a program that pays to test, treat and vaccinate uninsured people for COVID-19 because the administration has run out of money for the program, which Congress failed to include in funding legislation.
Go on, tell me Elvis appropriated music, tell me the Beatles were actually four raccoons in trenchcoats, tell me the Rolling Stones don't feature enough Latinx voices

"Why is she so passive in this scene" idk because she's supposed to be a human and not some Netflix woke warrior who calls out things. Also disturbing that the onus is on the person being stereotyped. Everyone shut up
