March 31st LA County Update: ~26% daily growth with 548 cases and 3011 total. Growth starting to slow? Seems possible. 27% daily growth in hospitalizations, which is probably more accurate (but lags more). They almost tripled testing capacity in those 24hrs.

The rush to discredit the beheading story with so many journalists on the ground covering it is truly bizarre. The desperate cry of “see, Hamas is a victim of misinformation” crowd. They feign a moral compass (“beheading bad”) while cherry picking what needs verification.

LA County April 10th Update: We are hopefully past the peak, which in hindsight I hope will stay at April 4th. Growth rates declining across the board, the next growth rate to start tracking is death rates (lagging indicator).
