Yesterday, I had the opportunity to test out the new @YutongGlobal fully electric double decker #U11DD . I was very impressed with the overall quality and it was very comfortable! It will be tested on @gonortheast Angel 21 service between #Newcastle and #Durham from next week.⚡️🔋

I finally did it. I drove a bus!!!! Today a “meeting” turned into a surprise birthday party which included driving one of our new electric buses! It has been a dream of mine ever since I was little and today that dream came true. 🚌😊

I’m a big fan of #electricbuses so it was great to get the chance to check out and learn more about the brand-new @ADLbus #Enviro400EV this morning, something that I’ve wanted to see since it was first announced. A very impressive & smart vehicle which can do up to 385 miles!⚡️🚌

I finally got to try out @Ticketer_UK handheld ticket machine! The machine allowed me to scan & print out thousands of tickets each night quickly without issues,enabling us to fill shuttle buses promptly. It’s an impressive piece of kit & something we need here in the North East!

Exciting times at @gonortheast as we start upgrading our ticket machines! Last night saw the first few machines upgraded to @Ticketer_UK ’s new next generation V9 ETM machine. These machines are a lot faster and more reliable, so far feedback from drivers has been very positive 🚌

Got to work in style today with our zero emission fully electric @YutongGlobal #U11DD demonstrator! The demonstrator is now in service on our Angel 21 service and will be here for 3 weeks. I’m still very impressed with this vehicle and so far the feedback has been positive!⚡️🚌

Our ticket machine upgrades continue! Today we upgraded all of our ticket machines at our smallest depot Hexham, to @Ticketer_UK next-generation V9 machines. With our biggest depot Riverside completed during the week, Hexham becomes our second depot to receive the upgrades 🚌✅✅

Why stick to a meeting room when you can have the meeting on a bus?🚌 Today’s Commercial meeting was held on one of our comfy #Xlines buses which was pretty cool! Just like a meeting room, the bus had chargers, tables, & WiFi onboard. In my opinion all buses should be this cool😎

Last week my first ever video for @gonortheast went live! The video promotes our fantastic open-top sightseeing bus, the #ToonTour . It’s a great way to see #Newcastle and #Gateshead from a different view whilst learning about the history of both cities.

Great North Run 2023 started with sunshine and ended with floods, it will sure be one we will never forget! Big thank you and well done to everyone who helped transport thousands of people back home safely once again despite the bad conditions! 🏃‍♂️⛈️👏 #GreatNorthRun

Downs Breezer✅ When I was told this one was the best one I didn’t believe it as I didn’t think it could get any better than Needles Breezer but wow! The views throughout the route especially at Knighton were phenomenal. Another fantastic service by @SouthernVectis ! #DownsBreezer
