@NotRudeBro @phillipslaton @F1BigData Strategy doesn't affect race pace in that way, it affects race standings. Yuki wasn't put on any "bad" tyres, just the wrong ones. Shitty strategy, but Daniel had was miles ahead in pure pace. Softs were a good tyre choice, so the pace difference shouldn't be this big.

Yes, strategy can put you behind a slower driver, but then you'll have to make an excuse as to why Yuki couldn't overtake Sargeant. The excuse here is a reason: He wasn't fast enough, and it wasn't just the car. Strategy will only affect pace if the driver isn't up to the task.

Yuki is a fast driver, but today he was slower than a sack of potatoes. This happens to everyone. Don't use a bad race for Yuki as a way to slander Daniel when he had very good pace and kept up with what is normally faster cars.
