Don't blame the dog, blame the owner. A dog has to be trained to be aggressive. Even a chihahua is aggressive if taught to be. A chihahua isn't strong enough to rip off your arm, whereas an XL Bully is. But an XL Bully trained correctly is harmless.

Helped a lady with a buggy around this today. Rang @stjamesdublin to complain, to be told ‘we’re allowed to park there, we own the building’ and then hung up upon. I think you’ll find that regardless of property ownership nothing gives you the right to block the pavement.

Today we laid Mam to rest. I am so grateful to all who turned out to say goodbye in Foxrock and again in Ballindaggin. Also convinced that the Irish Wake is the best way to say bye. A celebration of life rather than a sad occasion of grief. Tks for the stories. ❤️ Sleep now Mam.

There was absolutely nobody about. In the entire 90 minutes walk I saw 2 other people walking around and was passed by perhaps 4 taxis and private cars. This was truly an abandoned city.

We have had a New Years Miracle. Against all odds my mum is sitting up in bed chatting and eating. I literally thought I was kissing her for the last time when I left here last night and today she is like a different woman. Still very ill but such a change from yesterday.

The amount of light poured over O’Connell Bridge rendered everything invisible in the glowing haze, but those very lights looked pretty cool. The Liffey was silent and still. Almost as it if wasn’t moving although a floating plastic bag showed it was actually flowing pretty fast.
