The UK’s mental health system is rife with racial inequality – so where is the action?

Black people are currently almost five times as likely to be detained under the Mental Health Act than white people. That needs to change.

Why? Because therapy/counselling isn't a quick fix. Spilling your darkest thoughts to someone isn't always the 'weight off your shoulders' moment it's often portrayed to be. Sometimes, you leave therapy feeling more shit than when you went in.
