I went to uni in 2010 from a top 10% most deprived area and I’m saddled with absolutely obscene student debt. The SNP were quite happy to strip poorer students of bursaries and travel expenses in favour of increasing loans to perpetuate the “free education” myth.

Jamie was the glue that held our wee newsroom (with no microwave or toaster as he frequently observed) together. He made everyone feel like they were his best pal. It didn't matter what he had on, he was always there to help if you needed anything and always put other first.

Scotrail would be doing key workers a real favour if they simply abolished peak fares. Trains are empty at "peak" times and busy at "off peak" times. Charging people who need the train to go to work more than people going on shopping trips is just a bad look.

Point is that a "£1500" iPhone *could* be factored into a monthly budget for around £60. If that's also your household's WiFi hotspot then it might work out good value

A friend made a very good point here. We still aren't aware of all the circumstances surrounding this. Very easy to speculate "illegal immigrants should be removed" but it may not even be the case.

Hello all, just a wee line to say I'm going to be out of commission for about a week (at the moment) because some pins I got put in my ankle about three years ago have decided to make an appearance and I need surgery to take them out. I'll be in touch when I'm back on my feet.
