Mark Pope’s press conference had sort of a revival feel to it. The Kentucky fan base was starving for someone to embrace them instead of tolerating them. They want to be a part of it, not bystanders looking on from afar.

I think this will be the last game of Cal's career at UK. I don't know how it will happen but you have to make a change. He did a lot at UK but the last four seasons have been such a disaster that something has to give.

Tell me again why Duke is higher than UK in projections? UK 18-9, 4-7 (Q1), 5-1 (Q2) 9-8 (Combined) Duke 19-8, 2-6 (Q1), 5-2 (Q2) 7-8 (Combined) The Devils are consistently 2-3 seed lines ahead of the Cats.

The SEC tournament seedings are a direct result who had the most favorable schedule against the better teams. Among the top 4 teams, UK got one home game.

I know people (Lunardi) keep saying that UK needs to win the SEC to be a one seed. History tells us that the SEC ends too late on Sunday to be a factor. So, win (or lose) today and the resume is final.

South Carolina picked ahead of UK...again...every year. Kentucky has won 7 of the last 9 against Junior. I've never seen a program get more attention and credit than South Carolina, a program that never does anything.

At this point, there really is no argument as to Kansas being ahead of Kentucky. Kentucky 9-6 Q1….Kansas 9-5 Q1. Kentucky has a better net ranking… And Kentucky dominated Kansas on their home floor. Also, same records.

Kansas is amazing… They jump Kentucky without having to even play a game and and they struggle to put away a mediocre TCU team at home and that will be enough to jump Auburn.

In 1992, Michigan got to the championship game starting five freshman, just like UK this year. That year, they began their run as a six seed in the South (east) region and were helped out by a big upset of their next potential opponent, which happened to be…..Arizona.

Duke loses and its a double digit loss to a 11-15 Wake Forest. If UK is a four seed, then Duke is no better than a 4 seed. Kentucky’s resume ie every bit as good, if not better.
