I am still bothered by my colleagues who have been denied bail several times. It should be noted that six of our peers were arrested 16th March 2023, while implementing an HIV reduction project in Jinja Eastern Uganda. The Uganda police and several media outlets have been
I hold so much grief, pain, memories and loss every August.💔 It’s also my birth month & for my best friend!
I hope the new month is a blessing for you, especially my queer folks in Uganda who are living in jeopardy because of their choices on who to love!🌈
Happy new month.
The power of Global connection with LGBTIQ people has and is still my best experience for years!

I have received a strange phone call and the person is threatening to harm me the best way possible including killing me. He also described where I stay. The photo in this post is taken right now from my home and just in case anything happens to my life. Blessings 🌈
I hope we all stay together, happy and healthy to see each other’s achievements, feast together, cry together in our hardest times and remember each other.
To all my friends, those that I have impacted & those that have impacted me over the years, I send you love.

It’s been an honor this evening to witness the Awarding of fellow Activist, Frank, with The Global Activist Award for The Stonewall Inn Brick Awards 2023 in New York City. Congratulations, my friend 🏳️🌈🏳️🌈
Earlier today I had a wonderful birthday dinner with the very amazing artistic directors, actors & actresses from New York City!
It was such a magical experience to be celebrated in a very special way 🌈🏳️⚧️🇺🇸
I have tested moments of hostility and prejudice many years. But when I learnt that people's opinions on my sexual orientation of being GAY do not matter, I chose to embrace every moment of my existence. It doesn't matter how you perceive me 🏳️🌈

You have no shame to mention that at parliament you celebrate love yet you champion the enacting of laws that incarcerate adults who love each other! Double standards!
I was honored speaking to the Social Justice Class at Columbia University. I shared a deep background of the Anti-Gay Law 2023 that was passed in Uganda. Journalists do much to distribute information 🏳️🌈
Thank you professor Helen for the opportunity⚖️
Anguish, ignorance, hate, greedy, blackmail, entitlement, intimidation , etcetra were all exhibited in today’s sitting as members of parliament passed the second Anti Homosexuality Bill 2023; which awaits the president’s signature. Tough times awaits the LGBTIQ+ community in UG.
Working closely with fellow brilliant queer artists and students was so remarkable during the NYC’s Participatory Budgeting process through the use of Legislative Theatre in generating ideas for spending projects. Many thanks to National Queer Theater for bringing us together 🏳️🌈

Be humble and humane. Don't let success get to your head and don't look down on anyone who is not having it yet well. A little kindness is worthy a mockery! 🏳️🌈
What we once enjoyed deeply, we can never loose! I will keep all my memories close to my heart. May we never be strangers. I appreciate all your love and support over the years. It meant a lot.
Best wishes to you all 💔
The passing of the new Anti-Homosexuality Act 2023 by the Uganda parliament should strengthen us and make us more wiser than breaking us. In the end, we shall all die someday!
