Joined as a Senior Software Developer at Nasdaq ✨
Got several job offers, faced countless rejections.
ECE to DevOps, Intern to SDE 2, and Tier-3 College to Fortune 500 company!
A grateful conclusion to the hustle of 4 years 😇
Today at 6 AM, I lost my Maa.
Purpose of this tweet is to just aware people.
If your parents are crossing 45, please keep them on annual health checkups.
They aren't that expensive.
I just wish someone had told me when I was in college, maybe Maa would be with me
When I started DevOps,
I always used to feel dumb...
Now, I manage 3 different teams in my company!
In 2 years, I have learned a lot.
But the main thing is that feeling dumb is important!
Cuz I'm a student in life. And it's a constant reminder, that there is more to learn.
It's more important to:
- Learn DSA over learning multiple languages
- Build projects over watching tutorials
- Attend Hackathons over attending meetups
- Open source over social media presence
- Learning from failures over actual achivements
I don't talk about my rejections, thus some people assume it's been "easy".
In the past 2 years, I have experienced 465+ rejections.
See it for yourself:
Four years in ECE, but I guess Coding was always my destiny 🐧
Officially, "Engineer Pratik Singh"
🎓 Graduated from a course I never thought I'll pass 😅

I have NEVER been asked about my CGPA or even my College name in an Off-Campus Job/Intern Opening.
I have given more interviews than I can recall. None, I repeat NONE asked my CGPA. The same is with my friends and people I know.
Last Night, I had a lovely dinner with my new team🔥
Everyone is so much experienced and knowledgeable 🤌
It's hard to not let the Imposter syndrome kick in🥹
@arpit_bhayani
I am not gonna point fingers (Ahem Tech Influencers) for this.
As a DevOps Enginner there is a small fix. We can have a CI integrated with gh-cli that runs as a cron once a day.
It will delete all and any PRs with changes to .md file with less than say 25 characters.
Reduced my
@Docker
Image size by 97% 🔥
It is
@golang
project , earlier it was ~500 MB now it is only 16 MB!🥳
I might write an article on the process soon!
Learned a lot solving this issue:
(σ‾▿‾)-σ LOVING the Process!!
Hey
@zerodhaonline
Is it normal to send an error JSON to the end user?
It came when I came back on the page after a while Ideally, I should be logged out right?
Looks like Zerodha needs that DevOps intern fast😂
I was blasting
@asliyoyo
in my Hotel Room in Japan.
Someone complained, so I told the manager it was my evening prayers.
Everyone has been silent on it since🤣😂
Didn't know I can play the religion card here😅
As a developer, it always astonishes me how
@rapidobikeapp
has a Permanent OTP for each user each ride🤔
If each user has a unique OTP it means they can't have more than 9999 users. And if it's not unique how are they handling you??
Yeah!! I got my First Big INTERNSHIP🔥
Joining JUSPAY as a Technical Product Analyst (SRE).

Many asked what I have done till now:
😍 Competetive Programming

😶 Frontend Web Development

🛳Kubernetes
✍Blogs
🔥 Several DevOps tools
✅ Tried ML, Electronics and Web3
Why are students paying for Mock Interviews?!!
Apply to smaller startups. Most of them gave me a callback.
Benefits:
- It's Free!
- Questions are tough.
- Lots of learnings from the process.
- Interviewing needs practice
- Even if you fail, it wasn't your dream company.
If you think:
- Software Engineering only means Coding
- Learning a language will get you a Job
- ChatGPT and Github Copilot could replace Developers
- You can find all answers on StackOverflow
- Developers only do Ctrl+C and Ctrl+V
For my Juniors, who did not get an Internship this Summer.
- Be in the practice of DSA
- Build projects end-to-end
- Start with Open Source
- Learn Git
- Participate in more hackathons
- Keep on applying to companies, even try cold emailing
All the Best💗
Now we are in the news:
I am not the best person to speak on automobiles. But certainly can say that
@OlaElectric
made our Ethnic day Awesome 🔥
Thanks
@bhash
for the lovely memories✨
Finally it's here! I started my Youtube channel long back, uploaded one video and that was it 😂 but now I promise to be consistent there. My coding journey video is up and I really want some love 😉
