He consistently races Leclerc dirty. This has been a reoccurring thing for a while right now.
Idk if it's an inferiority complex or what, but Sainz is inevitably going to cause a double DNF.
How the hell is this allowed in the
#Indy500
??
They're going at full racing speed, weaving to avoid the tow, aiming right at an unprotected pitlane
Seems absolutely archaic to me, hope they introduce some rules to stop this happening in the future
Esteban was very clearly ahead at the apex on the inside, the corner was his 👍🏼
You need to make risky moves in Monaco and hope that the other car backs out, Gasly did not back out and that’s what caused the crash.
Danica Patrick slander here will not be tolerated
If there’s one race Danica excelled at, it was the Indy 500. She has plenty enough expertise to cover this race. Any time she wants
6 Top 10’s in 8 starts
2 Top 5’s
11.4 Average finish
Danica knows Indy. Glad she’s back on NBC

Cota was literally broadcasted in Japan for the first time in ages, a lot of people probably tuned into that just to watch a bunch of brainless cunts race a motorsports legend like complete shit. Nascar doesn't help itself in the slightest with this reputation 👍
This might be a hot take, but I love this. Underfunded shitbox teams are all but extinct in modern nascar now, I'm glad there's still something reminiscent of it
Nascar effectively ending Brandon Brown's career by banning his only source of income for being "too political" and then inviting Donald fucking Trump to a race is crazy 😭😭😭

This post was made and liked on 13th October 2023, when it was far less obvious that an active genocide was going on. at what stage is liking a post when the political climate was so different really that deep
Same absolute shite that happened at indy. I'm so grateful kamui gave nascar a chance but it's hard to see him wanting to come back again when he gets raced like this, it's an embarrassment
I get it's 'NASCAR' but people shocked at the penalty need to realise that it's a road racing series and what Suarez did was inherently dirty and penalised accordingly
Fun last lap though!! Shame they took the win away from us, still trying to understand the rules here in Brazil, definitely different than NASCAR in the 🇺🇸 Race 2 coming up!
i can’t believe we’re having this debate every year.
“monaco is so boring” f1 drivers have to maneuver huge cars through a narrow track at incredible speeds with tight corners. there’s a reason it’s called the most driver dependent track in the calendar.
the 500 is… an oval.
@benzos14111
They shouldn't terminate each other 2583 times a race, it only becomes more apparent to international viewers that only tuned in to watch one guy race when his race gets destroyed because of it
Unfortunately, I agree with
@Jordan_Bianchi
on this one. I was already feeling it was borderline for a waiver, as it’s skipping a NASCAR race for a competing series event, but to also not complete one lap of the race, I could absolutely see a waiver not being granted.
This is unbelievably cool, imagine Nascar had a Lego set where they could immortalise Shane's win and other iconic moments from the sport, it'd be great for new and old fans alike!
Oh.
but it was never "consistently demonstrated outstanding ability and maturity in single-seater competition" when it came to youngest ever indycar winner and championship contender Herta was it? elitism at it's finest
The FIA has changed its rules to allow 17-year-olds to race in Formula 1 if they have "consistently demonstrated outstanding ability and maturity in single-seater formula car competition."
This would allow Mercedes' Andrea Kimi Antonelli to race in
#F1
this year.
More to come.
Can we stop the narrative that Ericsson is some deity in indycar please, the only teammate he ever beat at ganassi was a 46 year old nascar driver who more than anything did indycar for a bit of fun, he never cracked top 5 in points in a title winning car
This might piss off a lot of people, but no,
IndyCar drivers are great but if an Marcus Ericsson is killing it in Indy, it makes you question a lot of things
Point is, this was a product of hard racing between 2 people that ultimately have a lot of respect for each other. This happens in every other series, but NOWHERE else do you get so many wetwipes and delusional conspiracists, some folk on F1twt need to give their heads a wobble
Never forget when Bill Elliott, at age 62, raced in the Xfinity Road America race in 2018, span twice, and still managed a top 20 finish in average equipment despite being 28th with a few laps to go 🤯

Wouldn't mind being RFK right now 🤷
Corey Heim and Christian Eckes have combined to lead over 51% of ALL POSSIBLE laps in the 2024 NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series season
This is on track to be the most dominant Truck Series season by two drivers since 1996 (2nd ever season)
This has been the worst throwback weekend i can remember. Its just plain sad. Its not a stale concept, I, like everyone else, love it, and look forward to it every year. Just such a shame how little some teams try anymore.
Pushing 10k likes from the official Ferrari account saying "i miss racing 😿😿" whilst multiple types of cars, including Ferraris, are currently racing in preparation for one of the biggest and most demanding events in the fucking world, be assed man

Busch gulped.
Larson nervously nodded.

Elliott shuddered.

Everyone deciding they hate almirola whilst knowing absolutely nothing about the altercation they had with one another is exactly what I mean when I talk about bubba fans having a cult mentality which nascar really doesn't need

Hope you're all proud. What a way to stain an incredible season, not just from everyone else, but by yourselves. Before the race, I was happy for Jaume to be champion, but not like that. Embarrassment 5o motorcycle racing.
Oliver Bearman will be racing with number 87 next year.
His dad used this number when he was racing because Ollie is born on the 8th and his brother Thomas on the 7th.
