@jessesingal From what I've seen, the Community Notes people spend a *lot* of time down-voting notes, even notes that point to accurate info but are argumentative, b/c they want CN to be laser focused on presenting facts against false info I've been impressed

@Kantrowitz Indeed, we run 💯s of experiments & recently ran some related to when we show older 💎tweets ppl may have missed. Sometimes showing these is helpful, but data on these recent exps wasn’t great. So turned them off & won’t ship. We test a lot of stuff—some works👍 some doesn't💩

Here's another concept for the Community Notes extension! With this Chrome extension, the Community Notes could appear on Google results directly and prevent people from clicking on the click baits and misinformation! There will be no clickbait if people don't click on them!

@smallgovlizard @elonmusk In designing @CommunityNotes , we assumed from day 1 that people would attempt to brigade it, so it needed to be resistant to such attacks. It does multiple things to prevent this (account criteria, reputation, etc) but the biggest is that it does not work by majority rule.
