Such a great feeling. Thanks to my amazing mentor Dr. Michael Camilleri and the team of researchers in Mayo Clinic GI division who made this project possible. #leakygut #mayoclinicgi #gastroenterology

4. If you feel scared or paralyzed with fear at first, know that it is normal. But try to not stay in that mood for too long. 5. Remember that when trying sth new, you are out of your comfort zone! That's part of the learning process. 6. Ask for help from your seniors if needed!

4) Make a sheet with all common questions, add your answers, think about the points you want to make for each question and add bullet points. This is important so you don't sound rehearsed but you need to sound confident at the same time! Add your questions for next thread!😊

❓️It is great to share achievements/steps scores, however make sure you are sharing with the right person and at the right time. ▶️ Cultural differences: As an IMG it was more challenging for me to blend in, however I got more help from people of the same background as me.

-Never leave the room without having your differentials already in your mind. Ask as many questions to narrow them down.💡 -Don't take it personal! Patients may be grumpy/rude or just in a bad mood. Remember they are ill, that's why they are in the hospital.

2) Read up the programs: check program websites or other social media. These are helpful resources to know a program better! Make a sheet to add details. 3) Mock interviews: important to ask people that you know well and you don't know that much to do a mock interview with you.
