My sister has been denied an extension for her Y3 dissertation by @uniofbrighton because her excuse is “not good enough”. Her excuse? She’s working a 37.5hr week on the NHS frontline treating Covid patients, and her mental health has taken a beating. Shocking insensitivity. 😠

This is the reality for many Afghans - terrified, desperate for safety and security. Unbelievably distressing. World governments have failed in their duty to protect the human rights of thousands/millions of people. I dread to think what coming days and months hold...
