In just 4 years, Jeremy has TRANSFORMED Labour from a party that had lost an election with just 30% into a party that lost the next general election, lost 2 local elections, lost the EU election with 14%, and is now being investigated by the EHRC over anti-Semitism.
Leadership.
In just three years Jeremy Corbyn has TRANSFORMED
@UKLabour
from a party out of power for 5 years to a party out of power for 8 years with a massive anti-Semitism problem.
Why oh why won't the Lib Dems we called Tories, or the Tories we called fascists, or the Jewish MPs we harassed out of our party agree to support Jeremy as the leader of a government of national unity, will we ever really know?
Electing someone like Keir Starmer as leader just to try to get the party into power and implement progressive policies would be a gross betrayal of everything Jeremy stood for.
In the leadership election Keir Starmer claimed he would carry on the work of Jeremy Corbyn, yet now he is level in the polls with the Tories. Totally untrustworthy.
If Jess Phillips becomes leader that's me and the party finished, and I'm taking thousands of elderly north London millionaire Marxist Israel-obsessives with me IS THAT WHAT YOU REALLY WANT??
Jeremy is coming under fire from lots of people at the moment, but I promise you, once we have got rid of Blairite MPs, the House of Lords, the BBC, the polling companies and the EHRC, NOBODY will be criticising Jeremy then.
Incredible to think that Jeremy has TRANSFORMED
@UKLabour
from a party that had been in opposition for 5 years to a party that has been in opposition for 9 years, has a massive anti-Semitism problem and just polled 5% in Wales.
To be fair to Jeremy, in just four years he has taken us from a party that had lost two elections and was out of power for 5 years to a party that has lost four elections, will be out of power for at least 14 years and is being investigated over institutional anti-Semitism.
1979 Labour 269 seats, Jim Callaghan resigns
1992 Labour 271 seats, Neil Kinnock resigns
2010 Labour 258 seats, Gordon Brown resigns
2017 Labour 262 seats, JEREMY CORBYN OUR GREATEST LEADER
Remember: In just 5 years, Jeremy TRANSFORMED Labour into a party that lost four general elections in a row, lost 2 local elections, lost the EU election with 14%, is 26 points behind in the polls and is being investigated by the EHRC over anti-Semitism.
#ThankYouJeremy
1979 Labour 269 seats, Jim Callaghan resigns
1992 Labour 271 seats, Neil Kinnock resigns
2010 Labour 258 seats, Gordon Brown resigns
2017 Labour 262 seats, JEREMY CORBYN IS THE ABSOLUTE BOY AND THE ACTUAL PRIME MINISTER
I have every confidence that the complaint against Jeremy's close adviser David Prescott, son of Lord Prescott, will be dealt with robustly and fairly by head of complaints Laura Murray, daughter of Jeremy's other close adviser Andrew Murray.
I agree with Len McCluskey, who threatened to create a party to stand against Labour, Ken Loach, who did start a party to stand against Labour, and Ken Livingstone & George Galloway, who both stood against Labour, that splitters are only trying to stop a Labour Gov't. Disgusting.
You've got to hand it to Jeremy, he's taken us from a party that hadn't won an election for 10 years to a party that hasn't won an election for 14 years and is 4th in the polls.
If Chuka Umunna had an ounce of integrity he would sit on the backbenches, voting against party policy, undermining the leadership and achieving nothing for thirty years. Disgusting.
Hartlepool is turning to the Tories because Starmer's Labour is not left wing enough, a fact which is perfectly obvious to me and ALL my friends here in Hampstead.
Centrists bastards threatening to set up their own party thereby endangering Jeremy's chances of becoming Prime Minister should just fuck off and stay in the Labour Party.
Jeremy can be so proud of his legacy, taking us from a party that had lost two elections and was out of power for 5 years to a party that has lost four elections, will be out of power for at least 14 years and is being investigated over institutional anti-Semitism.
Scandalous that Britain’s top jobs are still in the hands of a private school elite, as I was saying to Seumas Milne and James Schneider at the Old Wykehamists dinner only last night.
If Rebecca Long-Bailey is the favoured candidate of Karie Murphy who masterminded our worst electoral wipeout since 1935 then that's good enough for me.
I actually agree with Rebecca's analysis of the election which is that while the policies and leadership were very good, the voters have a lot to answer for.
There is NO anti-Semitism in
@UKLabour
, it is a baseless smear used to undermine the leadership of Jeremy Cor....
URGENT CORRECTION
Jeremy Corbyn is showing amazing leadership by confronting the appalling scourge of anti-Semitism in
@UKLabour
.
If Keir Starmer is not prepared to put forward the same manifesto that voters comprehensively rejected in 2019 then he should step down and let someone else do it.
After the recent massive listening exercise, I would like to take this opportunity to assure anyone who says they are the victims of anti-Semitism that they are not.
With the Tories leaderless, Brexit in disarray, and millions still suffering from cruel austerity, surely time for Labour to unite against the REAL enemy: New Labour.
Hmm, beginning to think 40 years palling around with terrorists, surrounding yourself with Stalinists, tolerating the influx of 1000s of anti-semites, sitting on the fence on Brexit + agreeing to an election when 15 points behind wasn't the political brilliance I thought it was.
In just TWO years, Jeremy has transformed Labour from a party 25 points behind in the polls into a party being investigated by the Equalities and Human Rights Commission over anti-Semitism.
