Greens were the first political party to suggest a four day week. I remember the reaction as people heard the idea on the morning news during our spring conference in 2017 and choked on their cornflakes. Now two thirds of the country want the Government to explore it.

Despite the huge failure of Serco, minister Edward Argar attempts to defend the indefensible on @BBCr4today suggesting Government will stick with Serco to provide test and trace. Astonishing. Serco shouldn't get a penny more. Money should go instead to fund local test and trace.

Germany and France were quick to offer to take in children affected by the fire on Lesbos. The UK is yet to offer any assistance at all. We have a collective duty of care and the Government should step up.

A quick summary of the last couple of hours in terms of Green gains: Our first ever seat in Hastings, first ever seat in Derbyshire, gained SIX (so far) in Suffolk, one in Worcestershire and one in Braintree. Still a long way to go but Greens are clearly on the rise.
