It only took:
3 personal testimonies of explicit sexual abuse,
3 videos by the AG,
3 agonizing months,
3 key |HOP leaders being fired, and thousands of present and former IHOP community members to force your hand.

Words cannot express the anger, shock, heartbreak, and sadness we have experienced as we have learned of allegations and testimonies of sexual abuse and manipulation concerning Mike Bickle, founder of IHOPKC.
We believe that Mike Bickle sexually abused and manipulated Jane Doe
Now that IHOPKC has permanently dissociated itself from Mike Bickle due to confirmed "inappropriate behavior" &"misconduct" including "alleged clergy abuse" and IHOPKC's Executive Director Stuart Greaves has also resigned, will Rick Joyner now eat his “big nothingburger?”
Rick Joyner believes the accusations against Mike Bickle are at least exaggerated, brought in the wrong spirit, a “big nothing burger.”
Mike he insinuates is like King David. Whistleblowers are like Absalom. Those who stay with Mike are Zadok.

After laying out the indictment, Allen Hood drops some brokenhearted wisdom at the end, “the old guard needs a healthy gut check to see if they are not a part of the problem.”

From the McNamara report it appears that Diane Bickle is saying that she is the one who told Mike she would die young. Mike says he regrets sharing that with Jane Doe.
She said she heard it, not in passing, but more than a hundred times.
See the two statements below.

My former Pastor went around all of the churches he planted preaching, “everything that can be shaken will be shaken”…the year before he was exposed for living a double life of sexual immorality
My former Pastor told his family he was staying at a local hotel for a “prayer retreat.” He was really picking up a man at the airport that he flew in from Miami for the night.

You did the right thing. Recorded your stories. Held them in good faith. Released them after credibility was attacked. Picture is worth a thousand words.

When I asked my former Pastor why he was meeting with a young man late one night at the church offices, he told me it was a suicide counseling session. That was a lie. Things began unraveling from there.
Your questions still deserve answers. You have been invested with your time, talent, and treasure. You have a right to know who is on the board and they have a fiduciary duty to act in your best interest as members, over the best interest of the institution.

“A wolf in sheep’s clothing” I know you are not stating this lightly. This is a huge statement which I presume is from someone who has seen or heard evidence that absolutely can’t be denied. Thank you for speaking out and standing with whistleblowers and victims. God help us.

@Joel7Richardson
Indeed it is a leap forward for a Charismatic ministry to use the terms “independent investigation” in a case like this. Big question is “who does this law firm have a fiduciary duty to?” Why not utilize a non profit for this such as

rather than a law firm?
(1) Regarding the IHOP scandal, how these type of things tend to unfold is a pattern as old as mankind. The first effort will be to discredit all of the men and women who have come forward as whistleblowers and their advocates.
1/ Just a couple of quick comments concerning IHOPKC report. Obviously, as we expected, it's total BS. Absolute trash. Based on numerous conversations I have had with very credible witnesses, the report addresses maybe 5% of the things Mike Bickle is (allegedly) guilty of.
The strength of any Christian movement is found in its integrity. You agreed to an unbiased independent third party investigation with a full public report, but it hasn’t happened. That is a lack of integrity. Keep your word and make it happen

It was’t just one time. There was an incident in 03 before 08 then in 13 then finally when Stephen Powell went public against his former mentor in 20. Each time it was “handled” in a certain way. We need to autopsy and dig deeper on the root issues now with situations like IHOPKC
@RonSCantor
Thanks for continuing to speak up on these issues. Too many leaders choose to run interference for their ministry friends to the detriment of those who have chosen to take the risk and speak out.
