So it turns out the economy is growing rather than contracting, the pound has jumped in value, we have relief for now from energy bills, interest rates will be modestly handled by the BoE and Trussenomics are on track, so much for the sky falling in. Grow up media!

Many of the measures we have taken re COVID 19 are not permitted by the EU - border control, state aid including tax, removal of precautionary principle re drugs and equipment. Plus the EU is financially a busted flush now. Thank goodness for Brexit

Yesterday, after three years, I resigned as a director of Leave means Leave and stepped down as Chairman. Leave means Leave achieved the bringing together people from differing political backgrounds with the sole aim of securing Brexit. LML has done its job.

There is enough natural shale gas beneath our feet to provide gas for a hundred years plus. It would cost around one quarter of the energy cost of on land wind and one fifth of off shore. The sooner we get going the better. We need emergency planning permissions.

So, the U.K. economy grew by 1.3% in the last twelve months. The German economy was negative in two out of four quarters and will be lucky to hit 0.4%. The ECB is about to print money again and buy more bad debt. A club you want to be in?

The UK has the second-lowest ratio of government debt to GDP of the G7 industrialised nations. Headline inflation at 9.9% is below the eurozone average.On top of that, Britain isnโ€™t in recession as feared. The economy grew 0.2pc during the three months to June-WE ARE DOING WELL

Rejoining the eu (never happen) would mean: paying over ยฃ22 billion pa for eu technocrats; losing the pound; taking on eu debt; ECB setting U.K. interest rates; eu defence commend; no new trade; losing democratic control; eu courts deciding our law; completely open borders etc

With Labour polling 50% MR Sunak should now decide when he will sack the Chancellor & put Mr Redwood in his place. He should call for the BoE Governor to go & reform the banks mandate. He should abolish the OBR & put in place an Economic Advisory Cmmtt aligned to growth.

The Brexit Party was the winner in every district in Yorkshire and North Lincolnshire apart from York. No 1 in Harrogate and Leeds which previously voted Remain. In England and Wales the Brexit Party won in every region except London. A clear message to the establishment.
