It's arrived! The Point-To-Point Recruits 2023/24 is officially here! Hurrah!
Just in time with a good handful entered or declared to run in the coming days!
You can still order -
So sorry to hear Up For Review didn't make it. Especially gutted for Andrea and Graham Wylie who had a torrid Cheltenham losing Invitation Only and Ballyward.
It has just taken

about 10 minutes to get back to the weighing room after stopping for every single person who wanted autographs, photos and selfies with her. Different class and wonderful to see. What a great ambassador for our sport

Two years ago I went to

in the hope of coming back with Hill Sixteen. He was such a lovely character with great potential and it's sad that he won't be going home tonight. RIP.
I fear Boris may not have made it very clear, so let me help. In the nicest way possible, please don't come for a day out to The Lake District, we still don't want you ⛔.
What a horse race! Notforalongtime gets the verdict in a blanket finish to make it three from four under Adam Kirby for Clive Cox at

, at 13 years young, this stalwart of the game make his seasonal debut in a race he's taken part in since 2014! Home safe, champ 🧡
I can forgive a presenter calling a horse "it" on TV when they are referring to he/she for the first time, but to CONSTANTLY refer to them as an "it" when their co-presenter has correctly said aloud their sex, is unforgivable. It's just lazy, disrespectful & frankly, embarrassing
What part of 'stay at home' are you finding difficult to grasp? People in Italy and Spain are in full lockdown with 20C+ of heat every day. They don't want to sunbathe, they want this nightmare to be over! Let's not push the rules for five minutes of sun. Let's
#StayHomeSaveLives
We clearly need to limit the spread of the virus, but if someone who has been cooped up in a flat for a fortnight finds a spot to enjoy a bit of sunshine a safe distance from everyone else I don’t think that’s a crime.
How can Matt Chapman say "it's hard to think that this race will have any relevance as far as Cheltenham is concerned". That was really impressive from Itchy Feet and you'd have to say he won with a little in hand.
It breaks my heart to see that Achille has been raised another 4lb to 142 after his second at Haydock. That's an 8lb rise for finishing runner-up twice meaning he's 13lb higher than his last winning mark. It's just the way it is, but it never seems fair, especially for an 11yo.
We need to see more of the horses on ITV Racing. There's no excuse with no fashion segment, no crowd to involve & no other social interactions. The team do a great job but I want to see lots more paddock shots. Not a 10-second sighter as Jason and Francesca skim through the form.
Does anyone else scroll through Twitter of an evening and just read things in utter disbelief? I actually click to comment sometimes, but bafflement gets the better of me and I'm literally lost for words.
This is actually quite sad to watch. What are we doing? These rule changes aren't for the good of the sport, they are to appease those who will never celebrate or love horse racing, no matter the modifications.
"It's playing on every one of us - I would've got 51 days..."

Far more than just a horse. His pictures hang on the walls in my home and his face is the first I see when I open my phone. Rest easy Arthur. You'll always be special to me.
Exciting/nervous times. My very own book focusing on Irish/English point-to-point recruits. Hopefully readers will gain an edge as these graduates embark on their careers under Rules. £7.50 from

Champagne Classic out of the Festival for the second year in a row. I'm sure that horse remembers O'Leary calling him "the worst horse I own" after winning the Martin Pipe in 2017. Now he just thinks, what's the point, I can't be arsed!
Seeing the sad news about The Gunner Yeats and Mighty Potter really puts things into perspective.
We had a lovely time, School Days Over did his best on the day to be fourth & he's going home safe with the people who love and care for him. That's all that really matters.
What the actual hell?...
@RacingTV
why have you just gone to Leicester 5 minutes before the off... literally before the last horse had crossed the line at Galway Plate. An utter, UTTER disgrace. I don't want to watch five horses pottering around at the start!
Because there was quite a bit of concern after School Days Over was pulled out after receiving a kick at Carlisle.
Here he is this morning absolutely fine.
One of the most disrespectful things he could've done and quite frankly disgusting! Poor groom! I'd like to see the other guy with a shovel and sweeping brush in the morning.
There's no greater sight is there. There really isn't. Just when you think he's going to be swallowed up, Tonto says THOU SHALT NOT PASS. Seven course successes. What a little legend.

. Second twice in the Irish National and now third in the Grand National. What a champ.
Our friends daughter had an accident today, thankfully no one hurt including her horse who must be one of the most chilled out horses ever. They were very grateful to the emergency services who helped them out
Maybe I'm just being grumpy, but at the moment the only good thing about Twitter, and the only reason I come on here is to see pictures and videos of horses, or foals, or any other animals.
Of all the stories to come out of Cheltenham this year, Rachael Blackmore is the biggest. We knew she was amazing but now she's proved to be phenomenal.
Real or fake it's funny (or not) how racing Twitter has blown up over a leading trainer doing something untoward, but when Sheikh Mo kidnaps and locks his daughter up, we barely hear a peep.
School Days Over walking back after receiving a kick down at the start. Fingers crossed he's OK in the morning. Pick of the paddock.
#TeamOBM
did a fantastic job with both horses. Thank you.
The Dublin Racing Festival deserves its own channel today. What a card. It's just so sad that no one can be there. It's strange, I wouldn't be going myself but I miss feeding off other people's excitement & expectations. The build-up, the tension, the cheers...just everything 😞
Oh Milly, you absolute beauty. There are no words to describe how much I love you ❤️❤️. You deserved that today. You bring so much joy with your enthusiasm for life.
@hoganjack99
and you are a match made in heaven, thank you.
@FOBRacing
and his team, thank you. I'll wake up soon.
I wish Twitter offered the option to edit tweets after they were posted. The amount of times I spell names incorrectly or my phone autocorrect something! 🙈
This is what a photo with winning connections looks like! I couldn't even imagine a world where one of these owners would take the horse's reins and boot Jenna out the way!
He only went and bloody did it!! 💰💰💰 Israel CHAMP, a 🌟star potential🌟 point-to-point recruit wins the Listed bumper
@CheltenhamRaces
. What a ride from

Can't help but think people are dismissing Israel Champ too soon. Worcester, the good ground and lack of pace were never going to see him in the best light. 30s on the exchanges is a little big.

's brilliant eye-opening documentary about being a jockey. A truly fascinating insight into the high and lows that these jockeys face everyday. I hope ITV do more of these. Fingers crossed Concertista does it again for him next week 🙏
Such a fantastic day. I'm so happy for all of School Days Over's owners. To have a runner at Cheltenham is a dream for many, but to finish second in a Listed race is unbelievable. Our dreams are still alive. Well done everyone. Thank you team

Aside from the Tiger Roll's epic success. My hero, One For Arthur, ran his heart out to finish sixth. For a moment I thought he was going to create his own headlines, but I'm still so proud of his effort. What a star for connections.
This is so sad. A man who had a share in her came up to us in the parade ring at Aintree before she ran in the Grade 2 bumper. He didn't know us, but he was so enthusiastic about her and just ecstatic to be there. She clearly made dreams come true and has been taken too soon.
Shantewe was involved in a fatal accident this morning at her racing home in Lambourn on Tuesday. I wish to thank everyone who came into this tough little mares life and gave her the opportunity to shine for

Ruby nails it "manners & respect". That's the bottom line isn't it. You can have a dispute & be aggrieved, but get your point across with manners & respect. Once you lose them, you lose all credibility. What a wonderful world it would be if we all had manners and respect.
