This is RΓ³isΓn. Sheβs 9 years old and has battled cancer for the past 6 years. She found out this week that the cancer is back.
Alongside her fight against cancer, she decided to set herself the mission of collecting GAA jerseys from every county.
If you like a tweet that has

in it, you get a nifty little burst effect.
Who thinks of these things?!
(Like this and you'll see. You can then unlike it)
If youβre going to
@EPfestival
this weekend, write up a note like this and set it as your screen lock image.
That way if you lose your phone, whoever finds it will know who to call to give it back.
We've been together for 14 years.
Lived together for 5 years.
Worked from home together for 2 weeks.
And I still haven't a fucking clue what my boyfriend does for a living.
...something with tech?! π€·ββοΈ
My mom had heart surgery this morning.
I went out to the hospital this afternoon to see her. She was sitting up, in great form and giving out to me fo wearing trainers to work.
Modern medicine, ehy? Pretty bleedin deadly.
If you offer a subscription service that allows someone to sign up from your website, you should allow people to unsubscribe from your website.
Forcing people to call, stay on hold for 20 minutes and then fight being talked into staying on is not cool.
That is all.
Do yourself a favour and search 'unsubscribe' within your email.
Then go through and unsubscribe from every newsletter, retailer and other junk you never read.
It'll take a few minutes but will save your inbox and time in the long run.
Mini rant: I'm 3 days off work. Three.
Since Monday morning I've had 4 calls from PR people saying "I got your out of office; I know you're on leave, but can I run something by you?"
I'm really sorry, but no. This always-on thing needs to stop.
There are only a few, but to those having a go at me about the COVID Tracker app: I didn't make it. I have nothing to do with it. I am a tech journalist reporting on it.
Yes, I think you should have it on your phone, but having a go at me over how it works etc is pointless.

This is just outrageous.
Why not ditch the βVIP packagesβ and just make them all general admission?!
My little cousin wants to go to see her favourite artistβ¦ her parents shouldnβt have to hand over a mortgage payment per ticket.

I am blown away by the generosity shown by people to this... We have 20 counties within an hour. Some signed by teams.
She really just wants a jersey wall, like the one she saw in the hospital. Thank you all for being sound.

Iβm in Las Vegas to watch U2 at the Sphereβ¦
Couldnβt sleep, so I went for a waddle down to the venue at 5 this morning. It is incredible from the outsideβ¦ canβt wait for the show

addressing people on Instagram Live... say whatever you want about social media or political parties, this is just brilliant.
Using his position and the platform for good.

The fact that Twitter suspended his account now acts as a reminder that Big Tech decides who gets a megaphone and who doesn't.
He repeatedly breached the terms of use. Only when colossal amounts of shit hit the fan was he removed.
So many more questions to answer.
Shout-out to all the companies sending press releases about their female employees, execs, and innovators.
Feel free to share this information all year round. Not just around March 8th.
I met a woman at an event
@harveynormanIE
in Tallaght earlier this year. She is 70 and drove from Westmeath to come along and ask a few tech questions.
We are now email-pals. Woke up to this one from her this morning.
It made me so very happy.
Driver: "you're up and out very early"
Me: "I dont mind at all, I love early mornings..."
Driver: "Really? Gosh that's unusual for your gender"
Ooooooh right. Wait til you hear what I do for a living, hun.
I just walked into the living room and jokingly yelled 'I'll get my own fucking coffee, then' - at which point my boyfriend pointed to his Bluetooth headphones, indicating that he's on a call.
Cool.
Theyβve done it again... if you like a tweet with
#ps5
youβll get the little animated emoji thingy.
A real comfort, Iβm sure to those who canβt get the jaysus console.
Just had my first

100% feels like stealing. I'm sitting outside the shop refreshing my emails for a receipt in case I have to go back in and pay...
Staff at Twitter will know by 4pm Irish time if they are impacted by the job cuts. Many employees are already Tweeting that they have been let go.
There are 500 people working in the Dublin office, itβs not clear as of yet how many of those have been impacted.
My 4 year-old niece started in a Gaelscoil in September.
Today she told me to "bΓ deas ciΓΊin because I'm ag glanadh suas" and my little heart nearly burst.
She also uses "agus" instead of "and" without realising it.

This day 10 years ago George Hook gave me a few video games to review.
That shocking, super nervous on air review led to weekly segments and eventually the role of Tech Corrβ¦
Got into a taxi at Stephens Green. I asked if he takes card, he said yes - then presented the machine, saying I had to pay 50cent up front because of charges he gets from Bank of Ireland.
I got out of the taxi.
Just had to get off a

Ticket inspectors looked in at Sandyford but didn't request anyone get off etc.
Really not ideal.
As weekends go, this one has been pretty cool...
Thanks

and congratulations on an amazing night.
Not sure if it's the shock or the continuous consumption of Prosecco since the

I'm producing The Pat Kenny Show for 6 weeks from tomorrow.
I'm at home, trying to adjust my brain to the world *outside* of tech.
Maybe we could just do 3 hours of technology every morning for the next month and a bit...
Tune in from 9am to hear what we decide to do...
Want to know how my day is going?
Just opened my Galaxy Buds in Stephen's Green. One fell out of the case and is now sitting on top of Tiger.
Cool, cool, cool.
My boyfriend is on a work call and I can hear him in the next room talking about Eurovision.
He is both amazing and embarrassing in terms of his knowledge.
Still no idea what he does for a living.
Local news is the best of all the news.
"Tipperary woman's boyfriend making a fortune on I'm a Celebrity..."
The article is about Ant McPartlin. Of Ant and Dec fame. The host of the show.

Quick reminder that the app is an optional download.
You don't have to download it.
If you do, you don't have to use it.
If you do, you don't have to put your number in.
If you do, that's ok too.
If you want to help RΓ³isΓn with her mission, let me know. Sheβs a family friend, so weβll make sure she gets every single one!

I invited children & their parents to send me in questions on

Three Ireland is going to give 10,000 All You Can Eat data SIM cards to schools around the country.
Schools can register on their website from the 4th of Feb.
I would pay a significant amount of money to abolish the language used around dress codes.
I never know what they mean.
Forget busines casual, smart casual, cocktail etc etc.
Just tell if I can wear Converse or not... That's all I need to know.
Lads... sending dickish tweets / DMs to journalists reporting on stories is not helpful to anyone.
Have a day off. Make yourself a nice cup of tea. It's ok...
You don't have to have something to say about everything.
Good advice from

If you donβt like someone or disagree with what theyβre saying, unfollow rather than spew abuse. Itβs v easy to do, plus it saves time and energy for everyone involved.
My boyfriend: "I need a podcast to listen to"

Forever grateful that you asked me to go onto The Right Hook one day and talk about video games. It all changed then.
For the people having a go at me over this - itβs not about the 50 cent - itβs against the rules. Itβs unfair on other drivers and consumers too.
I donβt think we should accept stuff like that because it makes it ok and the norm. Itβs not ok and shouldnβt be the norm.
I, like everyone else in Irish radio, am thrilled with today's

Going to spend the rest of the long weekend Googling the term βrelatively youngβ until I find a definition that doesnβt make me feel old. π΅πΌ
