I’m utterly shocked to read into the details of the new @British_Airways social media policy. Their staff are the biggest asset to the company creating so much positive content for all to see. I’ve never seen a bad representation of the company as they know they are reflective.

First impressions upon boarding the Qsuite is very lovely on the A359. Yet again the service has been above and beyond so far. Captain just informed us it’s a 6h50 flight and I feel that’s far too short.

Todays Ryanair random seat allocation has got me 2A which appears to be the best seat on the MAX8 as it has legroom without the direct face to face with crew on takeoff/landing.

I have this evenings aircraft in front of me being loaded up with food, 27L departures doing their magic in front of me. What more could I ask for? I absolutely love the magic of LHR! I have full airside access in DXB but it just doesn’t compare to Heathrow.

EasyJet app is impressive. Live updates on flight delay and shows you the the incoming aircraft’s location. BA’s app usually can’t even show me my bookings.

Interesting @etihad flight at the back of a full A350. Fantastic hard product, comfortable seat with pillow, blanket and headphones and an outstanding IFE system. The food was simple and delicious, served in lovely eco containers with metal cutlery which elevates the experience.

All boarded and have departed Penzance on tonight’s night riviera service to London Paddington. Our fears of the service being cancelled are over and I’ll be sleeping well tonight in my cabin. Impressed with the train so far, it’s dry and warm so that’s done it for me.

All aboard BA194 on a very old config 777-300 G-STBB in 1F. Crew have been very obliging so far but they can only apologise so much for the sheer state of the cabin. This aircraft has been back and forth on the DXB route of recent which really lets the airline down such a route.

I got an email at 06:45 this morning (Sunday) that the LEGO Concorde was finally back in stock in the UAE. I proceeded to order straight away with the next day delivery offered. I then get a notification it’s been delivered at 11:02am, just over 4h later. Impressive stuff.

My bag might have been out in under 30mins from touching ground which is impressive for T5. Unfortunately it came out a different shape to its previous appearance. A guy that I’d chatted to on the flights bag came out with the zip bust open and all his belongings on the belt.

For a short flight I couldn’t have asked for much more, faultless from start to finish. Made my way to the Al Safwa lounge which is one incredibly large expanse of luxury. The EK lounges are awfully dated in comparison.

Back at my favourite Hilton in the UK the TECA in Aberdeen, the suites here are just massive and so cosy. The pool and leisure facilities are fantastic and the exec lounge provides a 3 hour evening drinks and canapé session with full table service.

All boarded on tonight’s BA126 with 12yo G-STBE with an empty unused F cabin. Only my second time in the club suite too! Got the new style amenity kit and the crew have been lovely so far. Monty the dog and I are very happy that Canard-Duchêne is back.

Very pleasant flight so far on G-NEOW the A321NEO operating BA1308 up to ABZ today. It’s certainly a much nicer day for flying today compared to yesterday! The salad was delicious as salads go, no menu was handed out so there was no calories involved either 😄.

Made it into the Qatar premium lounge (not frequent flyer) and I rather like it. First of all had a shower that felt like I was in a car wash with water coming from everywhere and now it’s time for some F&B.

Back at the beautiful Zayed International, great to see the presence of BA again at AUH. Immigration and security was basically a continuous walk though and got to the Pearl lounge within 10 mins of arrival.
