People not playing Elden Ring DLC cuz its too hard is strange. In 2013 I’d be stuck on one boss for DAYS on Dark Souls, but I would continue playing because it was FUN to be humbled and figure it out. Now people are stuck on a boss for a few hours and decide to give up. Weird

I just achieved the world's first, Fists Only Dark Souls 3 All Bosses No Hit Run. All 25 bosses defeated in under 6 hours, and some scary moments to go with it. Thank you to everyone who's been along for the ride. What a rush.

@DistractionCrab I’ve had the most fun when I wasn’t fighting bosses tbh. The exploration is incredible, but I felt like I had to get past the bosses to enjoy the game. Whereas in the Souls games I was always looking forward to the next boss

@OnionFiles1 A lot of the bosses are really great, save for one or two moves that are "unfair" if you play melee-only and up close. I'm not talking about delayed attacks or anything like that, I'm more talking about attacks that are not consistently dodge-able.

@venoshockk Many bosses seem to have artificial difficulty (undodgeable close range combos, large aoe attacks up close, rare openings to punish safely, unrepresented hit boxes, etc.) I could be wrong and may learn to love most bosses, but I don’t think that will ever happen, ufortunately

@katana15boi @OnionFiles1 This simply is not true if you are coming from a melee-only fast paced perspective. There are attacks in many of the boss fights that are not consistently avoidable unless you want the game to turn into a hit and run simulator, which is not good boss design
