Just four years ago @LewisCapaldi played in front of some empty tables & chairs at Chalmers in Bathgate. Gig was just £6 entry and he was supporting the brilliant @randolphsleap - Get out and support local unsigned gigs when you get a chance!

Back in August I noticed there was a decent looking coffee shop opening in the Artizan (that much of a rarity I took pic). Next day I passed and it was completely gone, so puzzling. Looks like it was the set for #TwoDoorsDown Xmas special 🤣🎄

Tough having a private funeral and not even able to be near your own family, but absolutely blown away by literally hundreds of my Grans friends from @NMBC_Tweets & community lining the streets for the procession with homemade signs. Incredible 😭❤️

3 years ago we had a full day out on the road and @MarkSharp17 smashed the record for the highest number of gigs (multiple locations) in a 24 hour period, with 50 shows. A lot of coffee was required 😂☕️

Usual barber shut so tried the place down the road - Boy gave me it tight - “you’re only here cause the other place is closed”. Refused to trim my beard and completely blanked my chat. Asked for a bit of wax and was told “no chance” nae worries mate what a bloody drama queen 🤣

When live music returns - whenever that might be - it will almost certainly be staggered by capacity. Make a point of heading to small venues and catching unsigned bands when these resume, even if you don’t usually. The lifeblood of the UK music scene.
