so what is skinny-fat? being skinny-fat means you have a low amount of muscle mass and a high percentage of body fat, but the problem isn't the body fat its NOT having enough muscle mass!
what works best for me: i personally was dealing with skinny-fat for a long time (😭) but pilates honestly saved me and also upping my protein made a huge difference!! i try and workout 4 times a week with 1-2 day breaks. if my muscles hurt i don't bother and take a break!

what are you doing wrong?
most people try restricting their intake and more cardio but as said the only way to fix it is to get a more toned physique a.k.a. workout your muscles . ( this doesn't mean you shouldn't do cardio!)
