Two months ago, I asked a Somali government friend to discuss the Ethiopia-Somaliland MoU with Addis Ababa peacefully. He insisted they wouldn’t engage unless Ethiopia canceled the MoU. Today, I learned Somalia is meeting with Ethiopia without any conditions. Great progress!
