I worked for about 4 hours with 300 blood sugar because I ran out of insulin on hand and now that I’m finally home and have a new insulin vial I am sitting NEXT TO my food waiting patiently for my blood sugar to go down even a little

2 years ago 1 of my idols, Mac Miller, overdosed. I was 1.5 years sober from alcohol then and had been dealing with the demons of addiction so his death hit me harder than I could have ever imagined. I will always wish that he could have found sobriety like I did. RIP Mac Miller.
