@alicexz If you're looking for an honest answer here - it's a nod to the comic book arc of Hawkeye - after the 'Snap' in the comics and he loses his whole family, he goes rogue and becomes Ronin - a vigilante who uses swords, bows, etc. Not explained very well in the movie for sure.
