You can tell I’m a brewer by the fact the only beer I ever have in my house is the 750ml, 11% barrel aged mixed ferm shit I can’t wait to offload onto a friend for their birthday. And I keep it all at ambient temperature.

In response to the Cyprus rape case people have been posting opinions. Seeing posts telling women to cover up, not go out alone at night, not get blackout drunk or talk to strange men to avoid getting raped is making today incredibly difficult.

Saw a brewing job advert today. A requirement was the ability to lift 40kg. Guidelines suggest the max a male should lift alone is 25kg. The experience needed was 1 year. £18-22k salary. Why are we still exploiting people? WHY THE FUCK AREN’T WE UNIONISED???

Five years ago I couldn’t walk due to rheumatoid arthritis. Today I went from crow pose to headstand in yoga. That’s been insane work but I’m so proud I’ve managed to not give up and work on getting strong as fuck despite having the joints of an old lady

I get messages every day saying I’m so brave and that “I couldn’t stand up to people like you do”. Which is very nice, but my current monthly therapy costs almost £400 and sadly bravery doesn’t pay that bill. Those who stand up do so at great personal cost, please remember that.
