@timeforjaya He's so happy, too! He's not saying it's authentic or anything, and yeah the naan isn't the greatest, but he's happy! He wanted a tandoor, for goodness' sake! Imagine if someone wove their own bamboo steamer, but it looked kinda wonky, and the internet went after them for it.

@uncanny_eli It's crazy, teenagers need double or more of the "official" recommended kcal amount depending on their activity levels. My girlfriends, thinking 1600 was normal, were horrified to learn I was scrawny but putting away 5,000 kcal daily because I was lifting weights every other day

@jpbrammer Most of the books high-volume readers consume have a below-college reading level, or are short with large print to add page length, or are generally not conceptually or stylistically challenging. There's nothing wrong with that, but you'll read more, faster, than eg Adorno
