Can we stop belittling other specialties, calling them stupid and easier? Specialties, different roles and areas are there for a reason. If you removed the measly cardamom from a chicken biryani, do you think you’re going to enjoy it?
Hi everyone 👋🏼 I’m Meenakshi, an incoming ACF trainee. I was a budding anaesthetist (on the anaesthetics AFP pathway) until I had my ED rotation and saw how many conditions can be prevented if we spent a little bit of time.
Can I just say, despite the challenges in the NHS right now, I’ve come across some absolutely fantastic clinicians who put their all into their service and have made me want to be better. Their passion is infectious and I only want to spread it 🤧 😂

Of course with the current climate it’s proving difficult, but I was adamant to make a change and be a part of it. I’ve since changed career pathways and will be an GP trainee august onwards. My love for procedural skills remains.
I love seeing different innovations and learning about them, hence my gigs in VC, start-ups and consultancy. Please message if you want to chat about any of the above
P.s. In my purpose of making the world a better place, I frequently talk about psychology, mental health and mindfulness. But all backed with research, the geek is me and I am the geek. 😎
I’m leveraging that with my love for food and creating chemistry with different ingredients. I’m also very cerebral (I do like the best of both worlds) and so you’ll see a lot of academia and evidence based tweets here 🤓

We need more seniors like you! Breaks 🙌🏽 are 🙌🏽 needed 🙌🏽 it’s a cognitive profession! The brain uses 20% of our energy. How is it meant to function if you’re not watered or fuelled?! It’s a basic requirement
Treat everyone respectfully knowing that if, doctors (acute/chronic/community), pharmacists and healthcare assistants etc didn’t do the job they are trained to do, the whole system would collapse. Let’s make biryani folks, and let’s flipping enjoy it 🤤

Ah! Regardless. We need more people like you. I remember I had the most amazing nurses and pharmacists who would nudge me to eat something had it gone beyond 1pm. Some would get snacks and have it together. Amazing camaraderie honestly.
interesting way to market

Ditto. I trained as a GP after doing quite a stretch in internal medicine. So 13 years before I could say "I am a GP". But even after that, every day brings complex problems, strange presentations and challenge of multimorbidity.
If it seems easy, then you're missing stuff.
uhhh how is

whilst i’m here learning about functions and vectors 🤤 if it’s anything like the iced apple parfait, I am just a green goblin. Glad you’re treating yourself, you deserve it 😊

Using longitudinal clustering and analysis of data which includes temperature and cytokine trajectories, we can further segregate and find sub phenotypes of patients. It’s such a heterogenous condition that it’s difficult to generalise. One may need GCSF another steroids…
No, you won’t. Because despite its “small” nature, it adds a fantastic amount of flavour. Without it, you’re eating pulao my friend, and if you don’t know the difference between biryani and pulao, you need some seasoning baby 💋
