@TheBMA Patients should know that the person talking to them is NOT a doctor. Part of providing consent is providing complete information — and if you’re not telling patients they’re being seen by PAs, you’re coercing them into subpar treatment.

The truth about ANPs, PAs and ACPs that most people don’t talk about… Organizations are heavily incentivized to train these careers over doctors, why?? Because speciality training leads to an internationally recognized certification. P*ss them off once, they’re out…

BAME in Britain, Here’s how you are directly related to the PA vs SAS doctor debacle… When decisions don’t make sense, especially round these parts. Ask yourself: ~ “Could it be rac*sm?” Here’s the ethnic breakdown of SAS doctors vs PAs. What. A. Coincidence.

Remember when the Chair of the RCGP wrote a letter stating how SAS doctors should not enter GP surgeries? And we didn't know their conflicts of interests at that stage. ....and yet we have the College fully supporting PAs. I can smell the shit from all the way down here.

Why not just offer these jobs to doctors? Over and over we see the effects of a national move to hire PAs over Doctors. I’ll tell you what — if you want sh*tty healthcare services, you can’t have it. How much does a life cost? Apparently not enough. I’m out.

How can this be justified @gloshospitals ? PAs are being paid more than doctors to supervise and teach doctors while eventually leading ward rounds. This job offer MUST be withdrawn. Doctors, see how your roles are undervalued. You are slowly being replaced. STRIKE
