@Tony_Robinson
the Corbyn fan club cheering whenever long-standing members, or people who gave Labour their votes for decades, decide to leave is so utterly puerile
@carryonkeith
I’m glad he wasn’t there. I’d rather our youngsters had positive role models like the Lionesses to focus on.
That big lump Pfeffel can do one.
@damocrat
@Piethagoram
refugees arriving on UK beaches don't add up to a hill of beans compared to the problems we face - but the Tories know it will have the xenophobes spitting sausage roll crumbs at the telly
@alisonkatebr
More than half the people who looked after my father at home for a short while were from Eastern Europe. One was a fully qualified paramedic from Romania. They were wonderful people who also took time out during their visits to make sure we were okay.
@TomLondon6
@jeremycorbyn
Einstein, Attlee and Orwell would most likely agree that Corbyn is effing useless and Labour would do better with a hat stand in charge
@BBCNews
I preferred it the way it was; outward looking, far more inclusive, concerned with the welfare of the state rather than the state of their mate's finances
@davidkurten
Maybe we should stop wearing seatbelts and flak jackets or not bother turning our car headlights on in the dark - because being a “real man” will save us...and others.
@GrimArtGroup
Josef Koudelka's famous photograph taken at the time Warsaw Pact troops invaded Prague, Czechoslovakia in August 1968 serves as a reminder.
@GeorgeMonbiot
Whenever Rees-Mogg bangs on about how jolly it will be after Brexit I'm just glad I learned how to trap and field dress a squirrel for the pot
@DeborahMeaden
Brexiters now have to show us the way to the "sunlit uplands", preferably with detailed plans identifying trade and revenue opportunities, cost benefit analysis, resources, timescales etc etc
@Trump_Detester
Looking at it from the outside (I’m a Brit) I don’t think Trump’s core support cares a jot…we’re at the stage where he could drop his trousers at a rally and play the pan pipes with his chute….and they’d still clap like seals.
@BorisJohnson
The flag fondlers are out in force again....however, the majority of us see this for what it is....a tragedy for the UK and an embarrassing failure
#BorisHasFailedTheNation
@brexit_sham
looked to me like Starmer was setting two traps...one on the "bodies" quote at which he said there would be more. Secondly on his choosing the word "initially" when asking who paid for the refurbishment.
@ladyhaja
feels like the perfect storm; a global pandemic, sociopaths Trump and Johnson at the head of two of the most powerful countries on Earth....all we need now is a rogue asteroid
@mikegalsworthy
In August I visited a number of care homes in my area to place a relative...I can assure you ,without immigration...they would cease to exist.
@BBCNews
There are millions of unpaid carers in this country...how are they supposed to take on a career or even work extra hours in their current jobs when social care isn't available.
@SkyNews
Starmer was just on the telly outlining a plan for flooded communities and the Post Office prosecutions. Sunak is prancing about in front of a tame audience.
@BBCNews
Boris Johnson keeps promising stuff - 40 new hospitals, 8 nuclear power stations, estuary airports, garden bridges, oven-ready Brexit.
Beanstalks to an imaginary land of treasure.
