Tony Markellis was one-of-a-kind and not only as a bassist. I’m glad we had “The Beacon Jams” where he served as a co-host of sorts for the livestream series. It gave fans a chance to see how witty Tony was and the opportunity to get a feel for his engaging personality.

Before I went to see TAB at The Cap in 2017 I was in a really bad place. Was majorly depressed. He debuted Everything’s Right & it was a rare case of #phish lyrics ... not jams, putting me in a good space. Things started to turn around and end of ‘17 was A+. So, I love this song

As crazy as it is that I’ve been spending New Years with the same band since I was 16 (I’m 42 now), it’s equally as wild they were 30 and are now in their early/mid 50s, yet the emotions remain the same. Feel blessed to have grown up at the time/place I did. Thanks mom & dad!

Outside of Cypress, Island Tour is the run where from the first minute to last the shows felt historic. This was no ordinary run. It didn’t take long to realize we were witnessing a career highlight. The post-show convos were epic. Nothing like a bunch of well-satiated diehards
