We want all the fans to know Susan had surgery on Tuesday for a torn meniscus and her recovery is going well. We also want fans to know that Susan Tedeschi is a total badass who just played four weeks of tour dates with a torn meniscus.

From our entire TTB family and fans around the world, happy 40th birthday to Derek Trucks! Thank you Derek for your loyal friendship, your profound artistry, and your fearless leadership. We love you DT!
From Susan: "So incredibly heartbroken tonight. You are loved by so many John and we will do our best to honor you and your music. Our thoughts and prayers and with Fiona and your boys. Thank you for sharing your gifts with the world. You made this world a better place."
We are excited to announce our fifth, and most ambitious, studio release to date - I Am The Moon.
Totaling 24 tracks and over two hours of new music, I Am The Moon will comprise four individual albums:
I. Crescent, II. Ascension, III. The Fall, and IV. Farewell.
It is with both sadness and ever lasting gratitude that we recently put our long standing tour bus, Old Red, out to pasture. Derek Trucks Band bought the 1995 Prevost XL II back in 2001 from country music legend Ray Price.
After ten years as a member of Tedeschi Trucks Band, drummer J.J. Johnson has decided to move on from the band to pursue other artistic opportunities. Thank you J.J. for a decade of inspiring collaborations on stage and in the studio, and our enduring friendship!
Dr. John is an icon, a truly unique figure in 20th century music, and one of the greatest ever to come out of America’s greatest musical city. We’ll always be grateful for the time we spent together and the music we shared. Farewell Mac!
Towards the break of day June 6, iconic music legend Malcolm John Rebennack, Jr., known as Dr. John, passed away of a heart attack. The family thanks all whom shared his unique musical journey & requests privacy at this time. Memorial arrangements will be announced in due course.
The world lost a true genius on Friday. Kofi was a beautiful man, loving friend, and brilliant musician. We are eternally grateful he came into our lives, sharing his many gifts and inspiring us both in music and life.
It's been a challenging year but we got through it. We did it together and with help from all of you. Here's to whatever next year brings, we're ready for it. A safe, happy and healthy New Year to all!

We are deeply saddened to report the passing of our dear friend and bandmate in The Derek Trucks Band, Count M’Butu. The Count’s brilliant percussion and inimitable style won him respect and admiration from his musical peers and audiences around the world.
Just got off stage from this final show overseas, thank you to everyone who came out, thanks as always to our amazing crew and everyone who helped us on this tour. Some of those early morning ferry rides might have made us question our life decisions but we made it.

We've been rehearsing down in Jacksonville the past few days, getting ready for the first shows of the year. After a bit of time off, it's nice to see everyone's faces in one places again. Tour kicks off tonight in Fort Myers!

It’s been 364 days since the last time we played Bound For Glory 😬 in case you’re wondering, yes that is the longest gap in TTB history...and hopefully it always will be.
