I'm confused. You committed to do something and then bailed, and this is hero behavior. Good lord, when will the giant eagles just come and take me away?
@notcapnamerica
Even with Obamacare, too many Americans are one medical issue away from bankruptcy. I'm old enough that I know that healthcare was better and more affordable in the 90's than it is now.

We've come a long way from me standing in line at the record store for Wish Tour tickets, making friends with people and learning about bands I wasn't familiar with like The Wedding Present.
@who_p00ted
Was on tour with a somewhat popular band, and some well off kids invited us to stay at their house for a pool party after the show. It reminded me of this house a little, but one of the kids referred to where we were as the "Golden Ghetto" and I remember being like, wut?

It's something we have gotten away with all throughout history and STILL get away with 99% of the time. We haven't even begun the real work to rectify this.

I wouldn't sacrifice my integrity to put anyone in their place, and I don't consider being dishonest an act of healing, but I do see what you're getting at, and I will admit that it's fair on a lot of levels

You didn't answer me. Would you have stopped the marine from taking his life if you had been there? Man's on the ground, completely subdued, helpless. Would you have stood over him and watched him die?

I mean, she's right, and changing the subject to someone's well being when the conversation turns personal is probably one of the nicer things a person can do, especially on twitter. So yay?

I appreciate your taking the time to read my tweet butI feel like you read a little more deeply into it that is reasonable for a stranger. Yes, I do consider a person being able to relax around me a reward.

How old are you? Jewish people made up some of the most vocal civil rights activists. In fact, European Jews and African Americans were close allies for a long time. It wasn't until America granted Jewish people honorary whiteness that serious rifts begain. Blame the right people

Tell us you know nothing about parliamentary procedure without telling us you know nothing about parliamentary procedure. Fake Americans are tiresome, what a shame.

If there's one thing I think you probably understand well, it's developmentally challenged 12 year olds. Makes it hard to argue.

I'm with you on that 100%. But what I'm saying is that only WE have control of who WE are. What WE do defines that. Saying you will show up and not showing up is exactly what Brett Kavanaugh did with reproductive rights.
@angelavixii
No he didn't. The Air Force did, acting on bad information from Afghan troops who were being fired upon and requested air support. What Obama did was immediately own up to the tragic mistake and offered admittedly paltry condolence compensation to the families.

All debates should be on a neutral stage with an objective mediator. Rogan isn't inviting anyone to debate. Rogan is luring a person into a bro trap of interruptions and casual dismissal of fact.

I mean, people that age invented the stuff but I also do tech support for a niche corner of entertainment IT where I have to show a dude who used to have different colored bowls of fluid on an overhead projector how to configure a network.

The systemic defect is in willfully neglecting safety concerns of the track, the cars, and the workers in order to increase profits for shareholders. In capitalism you can not serve two masters

That would be even more hilarious, for them to get out of prison, do something stupid in revenge, and then go right back to prison.

I was under the impression that often women, esp black women have learned through the generations not to react for fear of bringing more unwanted attention or being accused of not being able to take a joke. That letting it go is often the safest choice for survival. Not true?

Just want to make sure I am understanding that you don't think price gouging or even opportunism is happening at all. Will you please say it if that's your argument?

It's fine for it to be hurting them. The whole point is that they were willing to take a hit to do the right thing. It's like people can no longer even fathom the idea that money doesn't have to be the driving force behind every single decision
