Prev. vs. New →
Instead of requiring an app restart, solved it with code and have it welcome you to configure Klack according to your preferences.
Continuation of the rework of Klack.
@steveschoger
Based on the spot I'd guess it's a thermal induced stress mura spot, high temperature operation over long periods of time.
But then again, I'm not expert.
@sekachov
When it was initially shared I mentioned it being inspired in its layout by Coffee.
With that said, nothing here was stolen, what a ridiculous statement.
Beam was the initial inspiration even.

Japanese Black just came out 4 days ago. I can't spit out new sounds every other day, every switch set is around 150 unique sounds and each one carefully mastered. It's very time consuming. Just to set a realistic expectation here.
With that said Holy Panda is coming soon...

Still plan on releasing my implementation. Been delayed by working on multiple things simultaneously. Got 3 big seperate releases lined up that's almost ready.
@Herdogan80
Thank you!
Cardboard has been a long time in the making. Planned to get it out way sooner, started the collaboration with Flurples a year ago.
So glad to finally have it in Klack.
@chunrapeepat
Thanks for the support!
Funny you mention product demos, that's what ultimately pushed me to start creating Klack in the end.
Watched a product demo on Twitter from Vercel with added keyboard sounds and it was so satisfying that I got the extra push needed.
@Kirschberg_
Thanks! Put a lot of effort into getting the bounce feeling just right!
Give it a couple of days and you'll be able to play with this live, feels even better when you interact with it yourself. Wrapping up the last details.
@aexvir
It’s a combination of things really. Extreme optimization everywhere, in combination with a very fast and performing audio engine. For example keeping a pool of available audio players instead of looping for the first available one. But that’s just one of many improvements.

Might want to reconsider the free part, not sure how hard they enforce it but they have pretty strict guidelines prohibiting exactly this.

What a neat approach, assuming the gradient on the weather changes based on the weather as well?
Unfortunately it's not always sunny skies after all.
@ppuru_
Sort of, been working on it for years actually. Will have more info on it out soon.
Still working on Klack as well of course (v1.6 coming out very soon), and big plans going forward.
@FebriantSeto
Neat! I have something similar on the website if you check it out, try clicking the app icon.
I've also implemented the same logic on the accessibility window as an easter egg.
@_akashnagaraj
Changed it so the very first button opens the accessibility settings directly, prefer it over using a button at the bottom, also not entirely sure how reliable that method will remain so don't want to lean into it too much and have it change further down. What you think?

I'm working on a TabNine extensions for Nova. If that is a suitable alternative for you then keep your eyes on the extensions library.
@shonenvii
The reason Mac apps look good is because they are consistent, what you are suggesting is making Windows further inconsistent, which is what originally lead to the issue you're experiencing. See the problem?
@CosWiSe
@sekachov
Main work behind Klack is in the switch set recordings. Each set is 130+ high quality audio files, each key individually recorded and cleaned up. It’s very time consuming.
Good alternative for those who only want simple sounds from their terminal however.
@falcuccis
Thanks!
Sure things, but it'll have to wait a bit. I got so much going on right now between the new sound set, features, bug fixes, marketing, promo video, etc. It's really Klack 2.0 but released under v1.3.
@dexterleng
If you want a neat addition that could really make your page stand out. I would personally animate the fluent emoji. You can find it animated here:
