All our pupils enjoyed today’s celebrations. Lower School students received a special Head Teachers Award and Upper School and Sixth Form received their Merit Awards.

Ben took part in his Work Experience Community Action Project today. He completed a litter pick challenge to help the local community, nature and the environment. He independently filled up 3 large big bags. 🌎🌲♻️

Thank you to everyone who came to support our drama students production last night. This one was dedicated to our wonderful Head Teacher Mrs Kathleen Wall, who will be retiring in July. Thank you to our past students who came to surprise her live on stage.

Thank you to Judith our Music Teacher for putting on an interactive concert for Sixth Form to enjoy. Pupils had such a wonderful time dancing, creating music and listening to the saxophone. 🎷🎷🎷🎷🎷🎷🎷
Sixth form had a lovely surprise assembly today. We had some past pupils visit and talk about life after Sixth Form. They spoke about the Transition process and discussed the ups and downs and the resilience and skills needed when moving on to college and the workplace.

This year, our book week theme is sport. Each class created a mascot to parade in our book week celebration. It was an extravagant exhibition of 3D art and creativity. Well done to all our classes, students and staff for such a wonderful display.
Chelmer class enjoyed going into the community. They did some field work based on the PSHE topic, “preparing for adulthood”. Pupils listed the types of shops and services they might need when living independently in the future. They also used their road safety skills.
Hawk class took part in café and created a bake stand for Red Nose Day. They sold their tasty bakes to staff and made money for the charity. Thank you to all staff who took time to support café.
