Eurovision is a TV show made for casual audiences at home, and they tuned in on Saturday and saw a perfectly normal contest apart from some booing for Israel. The EBU needs to mend relationships with delegations, but to suggest this year was a compete disaster is an exaggeration.

A lot of fans, especially teens, are desperate for ESC to be seen as credible so as to make being a eurofan credible and not something to be embarrassed about or somethjng people make fun of them for liking. Just embrace Eurovision as it is and don’t try to devoid it of the fun.
