Venting: I got sassed by a cashier at
@saveonfoods
for taking too long to bag my own groceries in my reusable bags. LICK MY BALLS Save-on-foods. Your profits are at all time highs, you've got one register open, and you're giving me sass for not hustling. 🖕

they didn't sign up for this, they didn't even know they would be handing this stuff out en-mass until maybe two days ago. They aren't staffed for this, how could they be. They still have their regular work to do too. My sympathies go out to them
If you would only spend five months a year in Canada, where would you live?
I hate that Edmonton is high on my list but it is. June to November is quite lovely.
I had one of the most beautiful lake fronts in Canada all to myself today. I sat for an hour in the sun enjoying the solitude and tranquility.

Thanks. I noticed this too, I've never seen such vial hatred, threats, and violent language any group, let alone from a group striving desperately to be accepted.
@UberFacts
Patagonia. Just amazing clothing for mountaineering, fishing and biking.
Lib Tech has Great snowboards. Ride bindings. That combo is amazing. Burton as well.
@Leahathome13
Met some friends from out of town at a busy touristy pub, band playing, ruckus place. Shouldn't have put myself in that situation but I really wanted to see my friend.
Thoughts on my snowboarding trip last weekend.
Two years ago I couldn't have done it. I didn't have the skill, and I was nowhere near fit enough. I would have been hungover and puked, either in the heli or on the runs, I would have been pathetic.
To sobriety!
I have good friends... I left them unattended with access to side walk chalk for 30-35 seconds and there's a dick on my garage floor. Thanks guys, you're all grown men.
I went on a bike ride today and ended up in a rain forest. It was one of the most beautiful rides I've ever been on, light rain and all.

I notice one thing more than the single road. All the cars know not to interfere with the "door zone" yet that's the area cyclists are told to ride.

It is weird... I own my actions and will be accountable to them, that's why I phrased it as I did. Some bad luck too but oh well.
I've known many folks who have been stigmatized after getting Covid. Ostracized even. Very sad.
My brother finally got a disposable camera developed from our trip to Mount Assiniboine. We both agreed it was one of the highlights of 2022. And yes, disposable film cameras still exist.
Froze my phone taking this photo, it died in my hands with 40% battery life left. Freaked me out. My battery bank wouldn't charge it either. No Bueno.

This gif has had a bigger impact on my life than I care to admit. I saw it about 10 months ago and it shook me to the core. It gave me so much anxiety, it was my life and my work. I've thought about this little gif allot. It's an analogy for so may things.
What a glorious morning at
@coffee_outside
with
@handlebarista
serving up some delicious freshly roasted, freshly ground, AeroPress. A Spring morning at its finest!
@Chuckwagonracer
I have given up a lot, I chose to do what I could to not get sick. That was my choice from the beginning and I'd make that same choice again.
I got so dam sick in may 2020, not Covid, I couldn't imagine how bad that would have been. I'm glad you're OK and recovered.
I made it to
@coffee_outside
today and finally got to ride with
@drdagly
. Of course we stopped at a French Pâtissarie, cause neither of us eat enough breakfast.

This is the easiest and one of the most effective home security tips out there. Even the secret service does this to make rooms more secure, I learnt that from

I got my flu shot today. Nothing new, I've got one every year since my mom was diagnosed with lymphoma. It was to keep her healthy so she could get treatment and fight she did! So I'll always get one.
Finally had some Northern Chicken. The Nashville extra hot melted my face, the honey corn bread was great and the sides... My goodness they were great.
Officials say almost all of the Alberta wildfires so far are human-caused.
Thus, it's basically impossible for them to predict where the next wildfire will emerge.
Knocked the dust off the cargo bike and ran some errands in the sunshine. This is the funnest bike I own. It puts the biggest smile on my face the whole time I'm riding it. 😁
I stopped in the middle of a Strava segment to look for art, who even am I anymore?!? I Didn't find any art but I found a cool fire pit.

Bike Highest paved road in Canada ✅
This one hurt. 110km with 1,700m climbing. That's higher than Ben Nevis bud... I would not do this ride if there was traffic. Get out and enjoy it before June 15th!
