Yang is definitely protective, but she's not OVERPROTECTIVE. We can see this when she leaves Ruby at Beacon so she can make her own friends and whatnot. Speaking of Yang, I know she gets a lot of hate for deflecting blame, but I can't for the life of me remember her doing that.

Ah yes, black people playing Jazz is a bad thing. White Fang is inspired by the Civil Rights movement, but they are not accurate to it. Sienna's movement resembles something akin to the Black Panthers, but Adam's movement is separate. It is it's own thing.
