This is my lovely uncle, a pioneer in my family. He came to the UK from Mauritius in 1966 to train as a nurse and he served the NHS for over 40 years. His grandfather travelled from India to Mauritius during the influx of indentured labour to the colonies in the 1800s 1/2

Just heard my beautiful cousin has passed away last night. A bright young man in his 20s and not long graduated with his Master's in Psychology. I don't know the details but devastated for my aunt. Tell your family you love them whenever you can. Utterly gutted.

Sunday physio confession: I consider myself as a researcher hoping to influence EBP. When writing papers, 90% of it is meant for the academic reviewer who will determine if it is published and I get more research funding. The pipeline to practice needs to be a higher priority.

Just had a great video clinic with an 87 year old gentleman. Much older than my usual patients. So what of this? 1) He was wonderful 2) We shouldn't make assumptions about older people and technology. He was set up way more efficiently than any of my other patients this week!!

Today is AHP day, but I do not feel I can celebrate with what the world is witnessing right now. We cannot be numb to tragic loss of both Israeli & Palestinian lives. We also cannot be silent as a whole population is attacked & displaced. Fellow AHPs have died on both sides 1/2
