Passengers must transship from the Peig Sayers into a smaller dinghy which allows access the Island slip. It’s a short transfer - approx 1 minute 19 seconds - and brings a sense of Blasket adventure to your visit, especially when waves can be a little a ‘wild’

Inis Tuaisceart, roughly 5km from the Great Blasket. Rocks rising from the northern end of the island give it a distinctive shape and it's no surprise that it is also known as 'The Sleeping Giant' or 'An Fear Marbh' (the dead man). Here the Giant gets a golden crown at day's end.
