@levelsio @pllski Uruguay it's really expensive, specially Montevideo - probably the most expensive city in LATAM. You don't get a full democracy, stable banking & politics, free health-care & education, FTTH 100% deployed, good security, huge tax breaks and nice coast for free I guess

ChatGPT web wins by at least x2 over native Mac app just in streaming speed (weird) and even more in UX IMO. Scrolling and interaction on the native app is surprisingly painful. If the chat gets long, forget about using it. Not sure if this is Apple's fault or that the web

the native app needs to fix *at least*: - streaming and rendering speed - scrolling - allow selection while streaming / re-rendering response - allow copying while streaming / re-rendering response - big chats crashes the app easliy or make it painfully slow we'll keep using

ok... @Javi on the streaming speed: at least there are 2 things different: 1. The Mac app uses the SSE iOS API [1] while the Web App is using WebSockets [2] which is blazing fast ⚡️ 2. The Mac App seems to be *animating* the text *even if the SSE stream has finished* :/
