@audisdead Respiratory distress. When I brought her to the animal ER, her neutrophils were crazy high, and her lungs were filled with fluid. We tried everything and nothing worked so I ultimately had her PTS 😔 We think it was CHF/HCM, but the timing to me still raises questions.

@ClimateBen @AnitraWheels -don’t see any more butterflies around anymore. Those “weeds” they cut down were most likely covered in eggs and caterpillars, and with them gone goes an entire generation of Pipevine Swallowtails. Sad, as they are monophagic and it takes 40 years to establish on a plant.

@smartasset My retirement plan is death, by suicide or otherwise. I’m sure many my age are in the same boat. Can’t save money for retirement when you’re one step away from being homeless each month 🤷🏻‍♀️

@richardvallee Sorry I just re-read what I wrote and it’s kind of unclear. What I mean to say is that the way you feel is in your thoughts 24/7 and you’re in pain, so you can’t engage in anything that will distract you enough to not think about how you’re feeling.
