Split games with Eureka today. Got some good swings in for a 2 RBI double in 1st game & an RBI triple for the go ahead run in bottom of 6th, in a 9-8 win of 2nd game. Went 4 for 7 (double, triple, 2 singles) on the day, with no strikeouts, a walk, and a ROE. @Ozark_Baseball

Had a good weekend at the 4 State Showcase Tournament @GoldenNorsemen going 6/10 with a HR, 2 2B, 5 RBI's, 3 walks, a HBP, and one SO, using wood bat. Strong defensively at catcher, controlling the run game. Unfortunately team came up short in bracket play and we finished 3rd.

Just because you’ve been a starter for three years doesn’t mean your position is safe. It’s your coach’s job to play the best player, no matter their age. Therefore, never get complacent. Keep working hard as if you’re neck and neck with someone trying to take your position.

Catchers Keep an eye on the runner at first base. Are they getting too aggressive on their secondary? Are they paying attention when you have the ball? Be on the look for an opportunity to back pick.
