Made the mistake of lending my car to my sister this week. Completely forgot about dropping packages off
Usually I could walk to UPS but have been sick the past few days - Lime Scooters saved the day

while taking these photos, the employee inside came out asking what I was doing and that they were closed already
told him I made my first few sales
so he went inside to get his scanner and scanned them in for me, 2 hours after closing
Love you Jarvis
Today I pushed myself further than I ever have with running. I set out to run 5 miles, but ran 9 instead
All I did was change my form, slowed my pace, and it made all the difference
A small reminder on how to approach this business - slow your roll, reevaluate, and just do it
Riding the high today
Productive day at the 9-5✅

Can’t beat the feeling of a fulfilled day. Closing the quarter strong.
My goal this year is to make the best memes in the Amazon space and exceeding $300K revenue
Oh, and making some cool friends along the way
Feeling bullish

What advice would you give me as I go into my second month as an Amazon Seller? What changes did you make early on that rapidly changed your trajectory?
Currently in an ungate auto-denial cycle. How would you adapt to scale in month 2?
TIA!

Right there with you dude. Running reminds me that when my body is in shape, my mind is too. Also battling CVD isn’t too bad either. Ram today after the sale notifications
Another Question
How can a newbie provide value to sellers who have 3 months, 6 months, 1 year, etc. of experience?
Obviously I want to learn from those people, but I can’t expect help if I’m not providing value to them too. What would you want from someone new?
My experience being a Junior College player walking on to a D1 baseball team to starting in Center Field:
My journey at Georgia Southern got off to the worst possible start as I missed the first team meeting because it was sent in a group message before I had committed because I
I’m curious and looking for opinions - what do you think separates someone who is successful early on in their seller career, vs someone who struggles to find success and gives up too soon?
I found a trail online that leads you to a beach on a frozen lake
Only to find a fence with a sign
Good thing I can’t read
Stop at nothing this week, even if it’s a sign with jibberish.
Next day, I drove 4 hours to the middle of South Carolina to buy a ratty old boat and trailer for $800. Does it float? Don't care. I'll fix it.
Time to get to work.
@BrendenSentIt
I think it’s more about finding a balance, and how you measure success for yourself
Personally, I think isolating yourself completely in the pursuit of success, however you measure it, is a good way to make yourself lonely in the long run.
Step 6: Bye-Bye Boat
The boat was cool. It was fun. But what I learned to enjoy more, was the process. I need a new project.
So, at the end of summer, I sold the boat for $7,000 to a father and son. I made $3,000 in profit, while they got to create lifetime memories. Win - Win.
Moral of this long story:
This project reignited the excitement I felt as a kid. I remembered I can do anything I want. It just takes action, a plan, and some tools.
Be impulsive. Take risks. Channel your obsessions. Be passionate. Build the life you want. Build a damn boat.
This thing was a mess. Rotted floors, holes in the metal from rust, a 30 year old transom that had the strength of a wet cardboard box. Immediately, I questioned why the hell I bought this shit box. Whatever, I’m here now
@DKSFBA
Tbh I know nothing about TikTok but I’ve heard you can make good money on that platform with viral clips.
Now if you were to go clamming on the OR coast then drive up to Mt. Hood to make some clam chowder on the slopes, I’d watch that 🤙🏻😜
Either way, do what makes you happy
How I went from a benched Junior College Athlete to a D1 Regional Host for the first time in school history, in just 4 years.
This journey turned my life around, and made me realize that anything is possible for those who work hard.
Let’s begin.
@alloutamazon
Dude it’s wild you just put your logic/approach to these scenarios out for free. My $200 college textbooks took 200 pages to explain what you summarized in a few tweets. Thanks for this reminder
Step 5: The maiden voyage
After 8 weeks of hard design, planning, and constructing, I was finished. Coolers loaded and a gas tank filled, it was finally time to reap the rewards of my work.
@DKSFBA
What do you think about items you can see spike certain times of year, like cold weather clothes peaking in January, gardening stuff peaking in spring, etc.
Do you ever predict using historic trends, assuming that’s the “stable” trend? Or is that risky assumptions

Ahhh okay, good to know!! Once you have the stores in your filter, do you dive into decreasing offer count, increasing reviews, min $x BB price, min sales per month, etc. ?
Or just filter on those stores and dive in?
I’m a person who becomes hyper focused and am not satisfied doing the bare minimum, meeting the status quo. I hate free time. It makes me complacent and lazy. I lose my motivation in my everyday life.
This is why I am so passionate about Amazon, and the other ventures to come
I spent the rest of Summer ‘23 on the lake. Almost everyday after work and pretty much every weekend, we were on the water. It was an incredible feeling knowing I built this thing by myself, with my vision, and by my design. But, something was missing - another project
So....
@DKSFBA
Sweet, thanks for the reply David!
Curious if your opinion with Keepa’s data queries -
I’ve been focusing on items with the largest % change in BuyBox cost over the past 90 days, assuming it means sellers dropping off the listing.
@Luke_FBA
Hey Luke. I have both a business checkings account and various business credit cards.
I was asking if I can do a wire transfer, or if I will need an alternative method, such as a check from my business checkings to my personal checkings.
Step 1: A Clean Slate
Clean, Sand, and Paint. The devil is in the details. If I’m going to do something once, I’m doing it right. I researched paints, how paint reacts with certain metals, sunlight, water, etc.
