Today's updated figures from B&F showed that the 2024 DSA deficit projections were overestimated by $420,000 dollars. As these deficit figures have been used by 10 NPC members to justify the need to lay off nearly 40% of staff, we call for the NPC to reconsider in light of this.

The un-endorsement vote had the highest turnout of any chapter vote I can remember since moving to LA 2 1/2 years ago, and 41%% of voters wanted the chapter to rescind the endorsement. To overturn a chapter endorsement would require 60% support — so the vote wasn’t close.
