Heartfelt thoughts and prayers go out to the friends and family of Kirja Kishel, 18, and to the community of Eveleth. Kirja passed away in a snowmobile crash early Sunday morning. Kirja was a senior at Eveleth-Gilbert and a forward on the Golden Bears girls varsity hockey team.

This story is from three days ago, after the Denfeld game. I can't help think about Donte's brother Dominik and how Donte's overtime goal was so much BIGGER than an amazing, upset victory over THE GIANT, Hermantown, or a ticket punched to St. Paul. That goal was for Dominik.
