@remarkablepaper $299 with pen _and_ SD card slot and I'd be interested. Alternatively, put a minimum of 128GB of storage on the device. It's 2022, 128GB of Flash is under $10 (retail prices). How about a version 3 that fixes it? 8GB isn't much at all. I have 2.3GB from a single source.

@phys_ballsocket If you have at least 16GB VRAM, try Codestral 22b on lmstudio for local AI. 48 layers and 2k context should work (slowly). You can do 20k context and fully-load on a 4090 (~40 tok/s). It's not for production use without a license, but I don't see why you can't use it for dev.
