The #raceandjusticeconvo is a master class. I think about the potential impact of making sessions like these commonplace and broadly accessible. We need more of this. We need more people involved in this; to break the dichotomy of learners and the learned.

Our DISMS research team got this little gift yesterday. Our article “Active Solidarity: Intersectional Solidarity in Action” is out online at Social Politics. We offer guidelines on how social movements can adopt an intersectional organizing approach.

Cite, review, engage with the ideas of junior scholars. These are great ways to support their work. Thinking of those who wrote amazing things and are not celebrating and engaging with peers and mentors in solidarity with workers.

Note to self: If you're going to sit through & help organize 6 panels in one day, let them be with people whose work you admire & on #IntersectionalActivism . Thank you to all of those who supported our @APSAtweets Mini Conference on Intersectionality & Social Movements.

Hard to take seriously the claims that APSA attendance is about justice, equity, and solidarity in a field that consistently fails to change its demographics.
